![]() Hi there, I'm wondering how to create a keyboard shortcut (like Ctrl + V for Paste functionality) that will let me apply a certain font (such as Courier New) to whatever text I have highlighted. How do I do this? Instructions or a link to a relevent webpage would be quite appreciated. Thanks, -ravl13 |

It would be easier to change the font of the style that you are using, or to change the document default font.
However, it is certainly possible to assign a keyboard shortcut to a font. Right-click the Quick Access Toolbar and choose Customize Quick Access Toolbar on the context menu. Click the Customize button. In the Customize Keyboard dialog box, under "Categories," click "Fonts," and select the desired font. Place the insertion point in the "Press new shortcut key" box and type your shortcut. Make sure that "Save changes in" is set to Normal, and then click Assign. If/when you are prompted to save the Normal template, choose to do so.
