Default search for fields

I've inherited a document that uses SEQ fields to number figures and tables. Nothing frightening there, but as the document has evolved in different hands some hapless individuals have put numbering in by hand. I know about shading fields so I can spot them by eye, but is there any way to use Search to skip from field to field?

You can use:
Find = ^d

Interesting … first test with ^d assured me I had one field in the whole document, which I knew wasn't true: it displayed and highlighted one lone index marker from several releases ago, while leaving SEQ and SUBJECT fields unidentified.

Then I experimented with turning "Show field codes …" on, and voilą: 213 hits. With that principle established, I was able to abandon ^d and search successfully for SEQ fig

Indirect end result, happy user <g> Thanks.
