Online Tips not working

Hi everyone.
i'm a new user of Words, i found some online useful tricks, works on videos and not mine. like
> typing 3 underscore and pressing enter will draw a single line.
> typing (tm) and space create Tm symbol


> {1+1} update gives you calculation result
and much more.
all these are not possible in mine. why is it? by the way, i'm using MsWord 2007.

That suggests your AutoCorrect options have been disabled. Go to Office>Options>Proofing>AutoCorrect Options>AutoCorrect and make sure the 'Replace text as you type' option is checked. Do the same for any other options you want to use on this and the related tabs, too.
