Default Numbering of pages

I have to number the first 4 pages of a document as: i, ii, iii, iv. But the first page should not have a number.

From then on, the pages should read 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 etc. But at each new chapter, I should not have a number on the first page. So numbering starts on the second page of each chapter.

Can you please tell me how to do this? I numbered the first 5 pages but the rest is too difficult. Thank you very much

It worked! Thanks. Just one minor problem in one of the sections. The previous section ends at page 53. New section page should read 54 (but 'it's different first page' so no page numbering there) then next page reads 56. Not sure how to correct this. It skipped one page (and there is no blank page in between). The error only occurred here. All else is perfect. Looking forward to your instructions. Many thanks.

Are you sure the preceding Section break is 'Next Page' and not 'Even Page' or 'Odd Page'?
