EDIT:
Ok, cancel everything here. I do use WebDAV. And it was disabled on IIS6. I thought I had enabled it. Now everything works. Sorry for the confusion (I was up late 3.am fixing stuff). I looked today and within a minute... I start Word 2003 then File > Open up and I give it the URL of the file (E.g. http://myserver/myapp/docs/file.doc ) In this particular Win2003 server I can't figure out what I am missing but only opens the file up as (Read Only). I need it to open for both read and write. I am stumped because it works on couple of other Windows 2003 Servers correctly and tried to match what I am doing wrong with this new setup. I don't use WebDAV. I rebooted. I checked the various permissions on the Virtual directory Administrator access and the physical directory IUSR_ and IWAM_ and Administrators and USERS complete access. I checked the permissions of the file and it's read/write. I tried different file. But still same issue. Any ideas or is there a log someplace I can check? Thanks!
