Format of Header changing after save and close
Hi Everyone,
I'm having a very strange issue where the format of the headers in my document appear to be changing every time I save, but only for certain pages of one section. The document has a title page, introductory section, and main body. The title page is currently Section 1 (with a section break at the bottom of the page), the introductory section is 'Section 2' (followed by another section break), and the main body is Section 3. The header contains a table with the usual bits of information. Before saving and closing, I have all the formatting as I want it. However, after saving and closing, and then reopening, things get weird. The first page of the 2nd section has the header formatted correctly - the table within the header is in the correct place. However, the 2nd page of the 2nd section moves the table in my header over by a few pixels. The header on the second page is flagged 'Same as Previous'. This 'shift' continues through the rest of the section, but when the 3rd section starts, everything is back to normal (For the entire section). No idea why this is happening - it's very annoying! I've tried multiple times fixing the formatting, saving, closing, and re-opening, and the same thing always happens. Any thoughts? Thanks! Shen |

This is one of those questions where a "picture is worth a thousand words". Is the file something that you can attach so that it could be reviewed (removing any proprietary/personal data)?

Link to Previous
Okay, I found that the "Link to Previous" was not, in fact, linked on the 3rd page (List of Effective Pages). Once linked, I saved to my local drive, recalled it...everything is good (Attached a good file).
