Reformat line lengths
Word 2007. Windows 7 64 bit.
I have copied a document into a new document that has a line width set at 7 inches. The copied document line lengths are 4 inches. Would like to globally remove the CR-LF and use the automatic CR-LF so I can shorten the length of the new document. Another way of describing is to select the entire smaller document and have it utilize the new document line length for the CR-LF. Joe |

Never mind! Solution is to use Find and Replace (all). Choose the display all formatting marks (Word Options). Found each line ended with what looks like a "paragraph mark". Went into Find/Replace used the special characters option for paragraph mark find. Did not work; however, searching for a paragraph character did work. Don't forget to replace with a space character or there is none between the resultant last word of a line and first word next line.
