Extremely Spooky Glitch???
Ok, so I'm writing an english essay in word, and I use the center clicking button on my mouse to scroll up (the wheel thing). You know where you click the wheel once, then little arrows appear, and then you move the mouse up and down to scroll in that direction.
Anyway, I click on the wheel, and this little box appears with some random colour in. It stays there.. so I click the wheel some more, and some more untill I have loads of boxes that seem to form a picture. Very creeped out by now... I took a screen shot, restarted word, the little squares were gone, and any new ones I made just went black.. so I couldn't finish the picture. I uploaded the screen shot on ma website: http://www.fredstermaster.com/spooky.jpg I have never seen the image before, but It looks like a little girl, and some guy holding a hair dryer to her head??? Anyone explain this to me?? thanks! |

Does this happen only on this document?
Did this doc start out and stayed completely on your machine, or did someone send it to you, or you to them, and then back to you? Is there something in your doc you copied and pasted in? |

I may have copied some text from websites, but the doc had no pictures in. I mean.. I would have thought someone else in the world found the same thing as me... but after googling for a while it seems not |

Good
Next, has this glitch only recently started showing up in Word docs? |

not exactly, I can't remember the first time it happened, but it was when I first discovered you could actualy click the wheel in the mouse. So I assume this could have been happening from when I first got my computer.
If it helps I'm on vista home premium - 32 bit |

Ouch!
Does this glitch remains in your documents--that is, saved with your documents? "Google" your mouse to see if others have experienced this problem, particularly if your Mouse is a third party addition I think I would do an uninstall/reinstall of your Mouse if the previous observation fails in finding this problem addressed at your mouse company's web site Feel free to attached a small file enough to get this problem and let me see if I have the same problem |

Here are some random thoughts of what I would try:
Does this problem or some other problem occur with say Excel? Put in new Mouse batteries regardless it seems I do not need to do this Go to web sites like this And here This could be an issue Dell addresses Keep us updated what you find or don't find to work |
