Thanks, yes that is what I do to initially edit the template and add the Custom Document Property and that saves to the template. However if I now open the template from explorer (so no longer the original but a copy based off the original) the Custom Document Property is no longer there however the rest of the templates features are there (e.g. formatting etc).
I think I'm using templates correctly, it just seems that the Custom Document Property isn't being passed on to documents based off the template. Thanks again for any assistance. |
