include heading text in header
Another question about "mending" that document … I want to pick up the first heading (for example, Section 2. User profiles) in a section and display in the header for that section. Elsewhere, I'm accustomed to doing this automatically with styles; what's the best way of doing it in Word 2010?
Thanks in advance. |

I don't see why you'd do any different in Word 2010 - use a STYLEREF field in the header to reference the relevant Style.

A bit of imagination suggests the answer "what OP don't know about, he can't think of using." Now you have alerted me to the existence of the STYLEREF field, I shall investigate it happily and farther.
