Hello Everyone,
I am in desperate need of help. I am currently finishing my PhD thesis and just added a handful of references to my bibliography. When finished I noticed that the formatting of my whole document had changed so that a large space appears at the top of each page. I've tried Format>> Document...> Verticle alignment =TOP on all pages but it didn't fix the problem. Cut and past to a new document is not an option as I have been tracking changes and need to keep these intact for my examiners reference. Does anyone have a solution? Unfortunatley the document is too large to attach here. I would really appreciate your help. Thanks in advance, Nick |

Could something have been added to the header so that the content of the main body is being pushed down the page? I'm not using MacWord myself, so I can't be specific, but double-clicking the header area should activate it... Also, have you looked at the margin settings (in the Page Setup dialog box)?

Thanks for your help Stefan.
Whilst I haven't solved the problem in the original document, I have now retrieved an older version (thanks to Mac's Time Machine retrieving a backup I made at 4pm today!) and done a little creative cut and paste to create a new document that is now correct. Thanks again for your help, much appreciated. Nick |
