Hi - I want a document where I can have both check boxes and also be able to insert text - with the bulk of document being locked so it can't be edited.



It looks like I can only have either/or - not both.

Is there any way around this?

If this is a protected form with legacy form fields, you can use text form fields to let users enter (unformatted) text.

Actual text boxes (the ones you can insert via Insert tab | Text Box) can not be used in a protected document.
