Bibliography Hyphen for repeat author
Hi All, I have fixed my bibliography with regards to issues I had on formatting however another formatting issue has arisen. When I have multiple papers by the same author Word just puts a hyphen in place of their name. I can't really have this for my thesis. Is there a way to force the bibliography formatting to display all information or something ? Cheers Grant |

Hi Grant,
That suggests you're using the Chicago, MLA or ISO690 referencing format, for which that is the standard. The APA format lists the author's name for every entry.

ISO690 Referencing
I am currently using ISO690 referencing style as I wanted to use numbering.

Hi Grant,
If you're committed to using the ISO690 format, then compliance with the standard means not having repeated names. You can't use that format and have repeated names, as that violates the standard.
