Default Listed answers shifted to the right.

I have written multiple choice answers to questions in word. The answers a, b, c, d and e are written one below the other. The trouble is, they are all shifted slightly to the right. How can I make them all shift back so that they start at the same point to the left that the question started?

There's any possible number of explanations. How about attaching a sample document to a post so we can see what's causing this. You do this via the paperclip symbol on the 'Go Advanced' tab.
