Default Missing Content in PDF when Opened in Adobe Reader

Hi All,

I am using Word 2013 and have created an ebook document. I'm having a problem when saving to PDF..one of the index pages is missing content when I save to PDF and open in Adobe Reader (see 2nd image below). I have 2 index pages, and the 2nd one is appearing fine, just as it does back in Word, but the first page is missing most of the text content. I don't believe this is a fonts issue as the 2nd index page has no problems and uses the exact same font as the problem page.

One interesting thing is that, when I create a page break between the two index pages, then I don't experience the problem in the PDF, but when they are right together, the 1st page again is missing the content.

I've included an image of how the document appears correctly in Word and one showing the corrupted PDF output in Reader.

I've tried numerous tweaks with no success, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
Eric

...and in Adobe Reader after saving to PDF:

Hi Eric,

Does clciking the ¶ icon on Word's ribbon affect what's displayed on the faulty page? If so, the affected text is probably formatted as hidden. That would explain why it appears in Word but not in the PDF.

Hmm, not sure, but I'll sure give it a try & get back to you.

Thanks so much for the suggestion!
Eric
