![]() I am creating a lease that I occasionally modify. Every paragraph has a number on it. I want to be able to insert or delete a paragraph and have the numbering change accordingly so that they are always in sequence. Thank you in advance for any help. |

Thank you for the post, but I have no idea what the wirter is talking about. It looks like to do what I want I will have to learn how to do many other things first.
Maybe some day when I have the time, but I guess for now I will have to manually change each number whenever I add or subtract a paragraph. |

Hi
If you want to insert paragraphs and maintain the numbering consider the following: 1. Is the inserted paragraph going to be the same style as the previous one that contains numbering? 2. If so then modify your style to say that the style for the following paragraph is the same. Then when place your cursor at the end of the last paragraph and you press carriage return you will get a new numbered paragraph based on the style of the previous paragraph and the numbering will be maintained. Hope this makes sense. Good luck. Tony |
