everything before caption in word is copied when referenced
When i add a caption, for example a figure number, I exclude the caption name from the text. So figure 1 will be 1. When I add a reference to this figure in the text, the number 1 appears in the text. This is fine. However, if I add text in front of the figure caption, for example:
figure number 1: blahblah the reference automatically looks like this: --------------------------------------------- figure number 1 --------------------------------------------- So everything that is typed in front of a caption is also put in the reference in the text. I want to avoid this, I want to see the number only in the reference. Does anyone have any idea how to do this? |
