I would have thought that by now, you would have had a simple Word processing app perfected. Why does Word constantly try to change what I am doing or outright prevent me from doing what I want to do? When I press a button, I want Word to do exactly what the button normally does unless I have modified the settings to do otherwise. When I hit tab, I want everything behind to move 5 spaces, no matter what. When I hit space, I want everything to move 1 space no matter what. When I am done with an indented body, I want to be able to move on to the next full line without having to struggle against your useless auto-formatting. I have tried many times going through and trying to "fix" the settings to no avail; there are far too many settings, and they never seem to do quite what they say, and they always seem to reset to default anyways. Makes writing a paper in Word take much longer and interrupts the flow of thought.
