Word Noob Needs Header & Footer Help
Greetings. I'm a 20+ year graphic designer who has rarely used Word. But now I am tasked with creating a Word template of a newly designed letterhead.
In both the Header and Footer I have inserted PDF graphics or information that won't change. To that I need to provide text boxes that will allow various departments to add their department name (header) and contact information (footer). I've inserted text boxes when viewing the Headers and Footers, but while the inserted PDF shows and prints, the inserted text boxes do not. What am I doing wrong? How do I correct this? Thank you! |

Follow-up. I noticed that when I clicked on the text that my Tab changed to Layout. So I cut the text and clicked the Header and then selected the Header and Footer Tab. With that Tab selected, I placed my text. Now it shows up correctly.
