I have just started using Word 2010, and when I save a document the system default saves it as a .DOCX file. The problem is, once saved, I don't have the ability to open the file.
I don't want or need this file format (not only can I not read it, but others I forward it to can't either), so I have to go back in and save as a word "97-2003" document (.doc). Is there anyway I can change my version of Word to save files as a .doc file as its default? Thank you. |

Did some searching around and found how to default to doc.
Thanks again. |
