Hi, Cycberpaper. The black overlay (perhaps you mean gray?) simply shows that you still have the row selected. The way to remove it is to re-record your macro, including the keystroke(s) you would like to make after filling the cell, such as pressing the down arrow, before ending recording.

Thanks Ulodesk. I'd figured I needed to dump the selection but couldn't see how to do it. As a final step, I tried right-clicking the selected row to see if there was some sort of de-select available, but the recorder wouldn't allow the move.
Down arrow, eh? Love it :-) |
