Hi guys,
This is nuts. It must be very simple. I select page size A6, orientation landscape and multiple pages 4 and it prints out the four landscape pages shrunken down to fit PORTRAIT onto the A4 page, not unshrunken to fit LANDSCAPE onto it. How do I get 4 x A6 landscape to 1 x A4 landscape, please??? Please don't tell me I have to put every blinkin' page into text boxes and rotate them 90 degrees!! Thanks for your interest in my post. Try changing the page orientation in your printer's setup.

Thanks for your reply. Tried your suggestion, no different. Four A7 (half-sized) pages printed in portrait with equal sized gaps beneath each "page".

If you save the document in PDF format, you can use Adobe Acrobat Reader's print tools to get the layout you want. Choose the Multiple page option, combined with Auto-rotate.

That sounds promising. I will try it and report back. I find it hard to understand why such a simple procedure cannot be done within Word. Microsoft have spent enough years developing it! Thanks again for your help.
