hi
I have a document with a certain style. The document is named aaa.docx. When I stand on the document title, it shows "title" in the styles. when I stand on "heading" it show heading. so I know the styles are configured correctly. I want to use this document style in a NEW document. That is, when I click "heading" in styles I want to receive the heading used in aaa.docx. I know how to do this: In aaa.docx I went to: change styles -> style set ->save as quick style set I saved the style in aaa.docs and named it "aaa" However, when I open my new document and change the style to "aaa", it doesn't work ![]() the file is attached what am I doing wrong? what did I miss??? |

When you open the file click on the arrow in the lower right-hand portion of the ribbon labeled "Styles". Once the (empty) styles menu appears, click on "Options" in the lower right-hand area of the menu (this will open the "Style Pane Options" menu). Using this menu make your selection for how you want to view your styles (ensure that you check all of the check-boxes). The styles (based upon your selection of "Select styles to show:" and "Select how list is sorted" will now be displayed.
Hope this helps. |
