Accidental automatic indent?

Okay, I did something to change my default new document and I cannot figure out what that something was.

Whenever I open a new document, type a sentence, the second line indents and the following lines follow that indent *until I do a hard return for a new paragraph. Then the first line of the new paragraph returns to the (correct) left margin and (again) subsequent lines indent.

How do I get back to all lines returning to the left margin?
