Jim you're a gentleman and a scholar<g>--and you correctly saw the error of my ways.



In my earlier post I had mentioned that there was 'blank space' to the right of 'Special' which was a clue to my dyslexic reading of the dialogue box.

All is now right with the world, and in particular, my Word default setting.

We did. You gave that as point #2. I responded that there was (paraphrased) white space to the right of 'Special' not realizing that the indicator was below and not directly to the right. Once I posted the screen shot my error was located.
