Word 2003 form fields and pasting multiple paragraphs.
So, I have this form (xp/2003, don't ask why) with multiple fields in them:
<field for header> <field for intro text> <field for indented text> Each of the fields have their own formatting, e.g. red heading, intro text in bold, indented text in regular. All works well as long as I type manually, or if I paste only a single line from a different document. But if I try to paste multiple paragraphs of text, all sorts of weird things happen. The intro text may end up above the heading, for example. What's going on? |

Are you sure you have the correct formfield selected when pasting? When I paste multiple paragraphs into a formfield in Word 2003, that formfield ends up having multiple paragraphs - nothing spills over into the other formfields.
The other possibility is that you have a background macro that intercepts carriage returns entered into formfields and treats them the same as pressing the tab key (which takes you to the next formfield).
