Thanks for your post. I'll try explaining it a different way because I'm not getting the results I need. My objective is to insert a single period "." at the end of every underlined Heading and not have the underline attribute applied to the Period itself located at the end. I don't need it to search for Periods like you mention in your post. I discovered today that I could select any Heading style inside the Styles dialog window. So I'm able to select all Heading Level 2 titles. Once selected I open the Find Replace tool and here is where I get stuck. How do I tell WORD to insert a period at the end of every Heading ? Any help will be greatly appreciated. |
