Default Table of Contents items not wrapping

Regarding Tables of Contents, with a number, title and dots leading to a page number, if the text extends over more than one line for an item, the 2nd line does not align with the 1st line. How do I fix this? Here is an example:

1.0 The title for this section of my long document is very long, so much so that it extends over one line and The title for this section of my long document is very long, so much so that it extends over one line .................................................. .............................................2
1.1 This title is perfect .................................................. .................3

Here is a link to the TOC concept: http://www.shaunakelly.com/word/numb...fcontents.html.

But, specifically to your point, you need to adjust the TOC "style" for the second and succeeding lines to 'hang' to the proper indentation. This can be accomplished from the "Paragraph" menu which you can get to in a variety of ways (i.e., right-click on the appropriate line and select "paragarph" or, right-click on the appropriate "style" and select Modify Style/Format/Paragraph). Make your adjustments in the "Indentation" section of the Paragraph menu.

To get a professional wrap format with a TOC, you need to do both of the following for each TOC Style:
1. Set an appropriate left indent and hanging indent position; and
2. Set a right indent about 1-1.5cm to the left of where you want the page #s to appear and add a right-aligned tabstop at the page # position.
As TOC Styles have the 'automatically update' attribute set by default, simply formatting one corresponding entry for each TOC level should be sufficient to get all entries for the same level updated.
