AHE_Designs is on a distinguished road
Default Text box

Hello.

I am relatively new to the (slightly more) advanced side of Microsoft Word and I require assistance on a few problems.

I had taken up the task of designing a "client's details form" for a friend, but I used a pre-existing form for the layout. Certain text/tick boxes I copied from the template document to save myself the trouble of figuring out how to create it, but now that I've run into a few problems, I don't know how to fix it.

As displayed in the picture, the answers I require is: What are those boxes called? How do I create them? How do I edit them or the position of the text within them?

When I pasted these copied boxes into my form it immediately locked itself and now I'm unable to edit its size or position. Also, any text typed in it cannot be re-sized or edited. I tried the Tex Box feature in "Insert" pane, but it's slightly different to the boxes I'm looking for.

To summarize: What are the boxes called? How do I create it? How do I edit the box size and text?

I'm using Microsoft Word 2007.

Thanks in advance.
