How to prevent Compressing images in Word 2010
I am trying to copy jpeg and Tiff files (which have images) to a word 2010
document programmatically and save the document. But after the word document is saved, i find that the images are compressed and losing their quality. I tried setting the word settings File-->Options--->Advance Tab--> Image Size and Quality Section Uncheked "Discard editing Data" option Checked "Do not compress images in file" option But, it seems to be of no use. Can you please let me know how to retain the quality of images in the word document without any compression. Any code snippet (.net) would be of great help. |

The maximum bitmap image resolution supported by Word 2007 & later is 220dpi. There is nothing you can do to change that.
