I second that (e)motion!
LoL! Can I also add - please give clear, concise details:
Added to that is a quick note on cross-posting There is no problem doing this - except when you don't tell anyone. We all understand that you want/need an answer as quick as possible, and spreading the question around gives you a better opportunity to get that. BUT, please remember that without letting us know that you are posting the question on other sites, you are doubling the work and may end up getting repeated answers. So, when cross posting, please do us all a favour and add a link to each and every cross post so that we can see what others have suggested; this way you WILL get your answer as fast as possible, all without annoying any of the forum members! And finally! As and when you find an answer that suits your needs - please add it to all of the cross posts - even if it's just a link with the title [Solved] - this then helps anyone who is searching the forum for a similar problem. This is a work in progress at the time of this posting, but I am working up flash cards for Excel for MCAS certification as I study for the exam where both knowledge and speed are the keys
I later want these cards to run through to remain sharp with Excel |

If you do NOT get a solution here, then refine/rephrase your question under the same post
You do NOT have to re-ask the exact same question under a different name, because this will get you the same response I can assure you your question is being worked on Attaching a stripped down example sure helps: No private/personal information 2 pages instead of 100 pages if it involves more than one page Copy of the VBA code used in the document since it cannot be attached, if applicable Again, right off, include what version of Office product you are using I also have found after many years at asking questions, I get my best answers when I ask one question at the time instead of throwing in everything in a question, because throwing in everything may keep someone from solving many parts of the question -- I know I often do NOT answer a complex question, because there is some part that baffles me, while I could solve the other parts... |

Let me address a common question: I have uninstalled/reinstalled a M$ product, e.g., Word, Excel, etc., and I still have the same problem
Okay, first Uninstall is NOT what you think it is, because the data of certain Registries remain, i.e., Window's "remembers" So, what you have to do is wipe the Registries clean, and the product I use is the FREE program ReVo Uninstaller when I want to COMPLETELY AND ABSOLUTELY remove a program If you go this route, you will be asked how much of a program you want removed, CHECK EVERYTHING Now, reinstall the program To better understand my point, have you ever tried a program, the time elapsed, you uninstalled the program, and then reinstalled the program, but the programs "knows" what you are doing Well, certain things remain in the Registry With Revo Uninstaller you can reinstall a program and run it again (Why I don't suggest doing this besides cheating is it gets to be a hassle; and indeed, if I like a program well enough to want to do this cheating, why not buy the program as a reward for good program writing) |
