Default Format of Hyperlinks

In all of my Word (MSW 2008 for Mac) documents the hyperlink format has changed from simple blue print to a cumberesome form like this: {HYPERLINK"http://www.healthgrades..com”}
Is there a preference to change the formating of hyperlinks in all of my documents back to the simple blue print form?

You have toggled Word's field code display 'on'. Alt-F9 toggles it on/off.

Thank you but on my iMac there is no Alt and F9 is dedicated to a different function.

Sorry, on a Mac it's Option-F9 to toggle the field code display.
