Color in customized cover page not stretching the entire width
All- I would like to create a report cover template to be used in the future. In order to create the different colors, I added a text box and changed the fill color. When you look at it on your screen it appears to cover the entire width of the page; however, when you view in print preview there is still a white margin on each side. I changed the margins to '0' but it still shows them when printing. See attached - basically I want the blue to stretch the entire width of the page. Please help!!! |

Note that most printers have a nonprinting area; that is, you can't really fill the entire page with print.
For the purpose of printing, a possibility is to specify a larger paper format that you are actually using, then print and cut the "excessive" edges.
