How to preserve or Retain bookmarks during Merging of word documents

Hi,

I am trying to Merge multiple word documents into one final word document and in the process , i am losing all the bookmarks in the final merged document,that were defined in the indivudual source word documents used for merging.



Please let me know a solution as to how to retain or preserve bookmarks while merging multiple word documents.
