I don't know what happened but a few weeks ago everytime I pressed F9 to update my TOC it would update and include tables, bulleted lists, and other styles. These styles also started appearing as sections in my Document Map.
I discovered that if I closed the Document Map and then updated the TOC, it would be ok. But now nothing helps. It's a huge doc, so I can't manually build the TOC every time I make a change. Today I've noticed that when I put the cursor on the TOC and press F9, the TOC updates immediately. Before today, I used to get a dialog box, which no longer appears. Any suggestions? |
