Does anybody know if it is possible to link information between excel and word. For example can you use excel to create a calculation which gives you a result and then can you get that result to be shown in word automatically without having to copy and paste? Thanks

You can create an OLE (automation) link as follows: Select the Excel range and copy it. In Word, click Edit | Paste Special. Choose the "Formatted Text (RTF)" format and select "Paste link"; then click OK.

Thanks for that. There's just another question. Would you be able to PDF the word document automatically after the special paste has completed?
Thanks

If you mean that you want to maintain the OLE link in the PDF file, then no. Only the current content will show up in the PDF.

This would be possible via a macro or, perhaps, via mailmerge. Without knowing more about what you're trying to achieve, though, it would be hard to advise an appropriate solution.
