creating forms on word 2007
How do you create a form in Word 2007 and then set settings so the template you create is uneditable? I worked on one yesterday and the only way I could find to do it in the Developer tab > Design mode > Properties > Aa.
By using this however, the document says "enter text here" all over it. And, I couldn't control the size of the "enter text here" to set the forms for data entry in a table I created. what is the easiest way to do this to create nice forms that can not be altered by customers/clients, but where they can type data and info into the appropriate areas? thank you! |

Answer
On the Review tab - right hand side, you should see the Protect Document icon - a quick look in Help will explain how to set up the document in the way you were asking about!

Most word problems can be resolved through the Help function. If you are connected to the internet while raising the query, your query will get answered from Microsoft even if it does not figure in the regular help menu.
