Changing Order of AutoText Fields
Dear all,
I have read and used this article to make some auto-text fields populate when right clicking a section of text: However, it always puts new entries on top. Is there a way to reorder the autotext fields such that certain fields appear before others? I can add the entries in the backwards order that I like, but the issue comes up that I have to remake a brand new list every time someone new is hired with my current means. Any help would be sorely appreciated, Bill |

Dear all, I have just realized that autotext does not transfer with the word document itself. It moves with the normal.dot template. I really need users from throughout my organization to be able to pick this up and use it. I can't change the templates on everyone's computer which means this solution with autotext can't be used. I want users to be able to edit the whole document as they wish which is why I originally avoided fields to begin with. Is there a way to get fields working while allowing the rest of the document to be edited for both 2003 and 2007 Word users which are my clients? Thanks, Bill
