I recently discovered that Ctrl + Backspace (to delete an entire word) does not function in documents that have a protected section. A quick search returned a bug report for the same issue in Word 2007, but I did not find any references to the bug still occuring in Word 2010.
I usually save to the .doc format, so I thought that may contribute to the issue, so I converted a .doc document to .docx and the issue still occurs. Does anyone know if this is just becuase the bug has not been fixed in Word 2010 or if the bug has, at least theoretically, been resolved, what else could be contributing to the issue still occuring for protected documents? Thank you for any information/suggestions you may have, |

I don't know if I would call it a bug or a limitation. There are a lot of features that do not work while in protected forms. Since at least Word 97 this has been something that did not work in a protected document.
