Default Copy Text Twice to Paste into word

Im useing Word 2007 on Windows XP Pro which works fine exept for the unusal problem of pasting text into word.


It seems that the first time I open word and try and paste text copied from the web or email it wont paste. I have t go back and and copy the same text Twice and then it pastes ok.

Any suggestions.

So, what happens if instead you try pasting into NotePad or WordPad?

How are you copying? Any chance you are doing it differently the second time from the first time?

Default This happened to me

Exactly this problem has been happening to me for months. Copy/paste from another source - web page, text, email - into Word requires me to do it twice. Copy/paste from the same sources into text editor, email, or another word processor program is no problem. But for years of use of Word 2003 I never had any problems. Maybe it's the newest version of Windows that is interfering.
