Default Margin Mystery

Hi There,

I am usually fairly resourceful when it comes to finding solutions to my Office problems, but this one has me stumped.

I frequently copy and paste screen shots into Word and never have an issue. Now when I do this and I try to print, the print preview shows that the left side of the image will be cut off. When on the "home" tab, the image appears to be fine and within the 1" margin that I have set. The only way that it will not cut off the left side of the image is to set the margin at 2.67", but then the image hangs off the right side of the page. I will attempt to provide a series of screen shots to demonstrate the problem.

I have attached a word document showing screen shots of what is happening to me. I could really use your help! Thank you!!!!

Are you sure your printer is set up for Letter Stationery?

The printer is set up for letter 8.5" x 11"

Is the paper size stored somewhere else that might be throwing it off? I just used printer properties to see how it was set up.

Do documents without graphics print correctly?

Can you attach the problem document with the actual picture to a post?

The word document attached herein illustrates the problem. It happens with any screen shot that I try and use. If I send it to my co-workers to print for me, the issue does not occur.

In that case, the implication is that the issue is not with Word, but with your printer driver or printer configuration.

PS: The document prints fine for me too.
