Alignment in word document
Hi,
Please find the attached document. you can see the text and the commencement of table is not aligned. this is just a sample document. it goes through all of my documents like this. How can I ensure that when I press table - autofit - to window -- the table limits to the rest of the document alignment (from left and rgiht). it should not go beyond that - as it is going at this stage (in this document)? Hi Umesh,
Your table's grid extends beyond the text boundaries because the cells have a left & right margin of 0.19cm. You can't change the way the autofit handles these. You can either change the margins to 0 (and, perhaps, indent the cell content) or fit the table to something less than the text width. In either case, if you reduce the table width or indent the text, the table text won't line up with the rest of the document.
