I have a full-page illustration inside a drawing canvas, and I'm having problems with the anchoring. No matter which paragraph I try to anchor it to or what positioning/text wrapping settings I use, I keep getting half a page of text, following by five pages of single lines of text, followed by the illustration.
![]() What the heck is going on?? It should just be a simple object with a simple anchor, following simple rules for positioning and text wrapping. I realize that since it takes up a full page that it will create an artificial page break, but what's up with breaking the previous paragraph up into multiple single-lined pages?? ![]() |

And another problem I have: If I manage to get the page to break properly from above, then the first line of the next paragraph will always appear below the full-page illustration, even if that puts it far below the bottom margin. The rest of paragraph will continue normally on the next page. Wtf??

It would be easier to diagnose the issue if you could upload an extract from the document demonstrating the issue. You can attach a document to a post via the paperclip symbol on the 'Go Advanced' tab.

Thanks, though. Just watch for a reply in the coming weeks. I'll be back if the document goes to hell right before I submit it for publication. |
