I need to create a table of contents. My chapter headers are images. All I really want to do is manually type up the table of contents so that it looks just as I want it to, then highlight each line of my table of contents and show where to link it in my document. I do not want my chapter and sections headers to be anything other than images, so I cannot highlight them and then add them as text in my table of contents.



I am using word 2007, by the way.

Why can't I just highlight something in the table of contents I created, and then tell Word what page I want to point to.

How can I make it so that the chapter images are recognized?
