How to delete unlisted citations from the bibliography table ?
I'm preparing my thesis using Word 2010 and it's integrated bibliography, I deleted some text along with it's sources (citations), but these citations still remain in the list of bibliography and when I update the bibliography table, unused citations are still listed. Is there an automated way to delete unlisted citations from the bibliography table, other than to do it manually ? |

hi Didil,
Go to References|Manage Sources and delete from the 'Current List' any entries that you don't want to appear in your Bibliography. Note that you cannot delete items that have a tick against them, as they have citations. Note also that deleting 'Current List' entries does not remove them from Word altogether - they'll still be in the 'Master List', where they're available for adding to other documents. You can delete them from the 'Master List' too, if you want.

Thank you for your answer, I'd prefer something automated, but this is doable, thank you very much.
