Kerning in Linked Excel Charts
I have a number of charts in my Word document that are linked as Excel Chart Objects. I initially linked these objects on my laptop and everything looks great. However, when I transferred the Word doc and the Excel workbook over to my desktop, the charts look terrible. All of the numbers have horrible resolution (I believe that this is referred to as "kerning") and the vertical bars lose all of their raised effects. Essentially, the charts look terrible.
Before I linked these charts, I was simply pasting them as embedded pictures. When I was doing it that way, everything looked great, so I don't think that this is a driver problem or anything like that. When I print these charts they look just as bad. Does anyone know what might be going on? Thanks! Follow up: I just deleted one of the charts altogether and re-did the copy/paste link and this makes the problem go away. However, there are a lot of charts in this Word doc, so I really don't want to have to do this for every single chart as this would take quite a bit of time. It's an interesting clue, however. |
