Default Is there a way of keeping words together so that they don't break over two lines?

Hello,

Is there a way of keeping words together so that they don't break over two lines? For instance, I would like 1967 Protocol to always remain on the same line. I tried keep lines together and keep with next under format/paragraph but it's not working.

With thanks in advance.

Mayla

Yes. It is called a non-breaking space. The quick way to insert one is Ctrl-Shift-Spacebar. Some software intercepts this command, though. If it does not work, you'll need to insert one from Insert > Symbol. It is on the special characters tab.

If you display non-printing formatting characters, it looks like a degree symbol.
