Default Making Tables Copied from Excel Fit to Page

I'm copying in various tables from Excel. When I paste them into the Word document, the table spills well outside of the right margin. The problem is that I have no ability to "scroll" over the right (since this isn't like Excel), and I don't know how to make the table fit into the width of the page.

Is there a way to resize the table to make it fit the page width? Is there a default setting to make this happen?

Thank you.
