Post How do you duplicate a text inserted in a form field created with Content Control?

I'm trying to create a fillable word document letter using content control, however I would like to repeat a text that was inserted in one of the form fields.

Example:

<FirstName> <LastName>
<Address>
<City>

Dear Mr. <LastName>,
Etc.

In this case, I'd like to type in the the last name once and have it automatically repeated below so that I don't have to retype it.

Thanks in advance!

Your post mentions both content controls and formfields. These are different objects and should not be used in the same document; they weren't designed to work together and trying to use them that way is a known source of problems.
