How to make words hot and point to a web address?
how can I make words hot in Word? for example the words "Maiden Rock" so that when one clicks on those words they would be taken to www.maidenrock.org ?

hi jlp,
Select the "Maiden Rock" string, then choose Insert|Hyperlink and complete the relevant fields in the dialogue box.

Hi Macropod,
thank you for you input. I did get it to work shortly after I posted my problem When I was clicking on the hyperlink option in the bar across the top it wasn't getting me anywhere. Then for some reason I decided to try clicking on the highlighed word(s) and up came a mini board with a hyperlink option, clicked on it and woola...hahaha...it worked. Who knows why the other way didn't work? Thank you again for your input. jlp |
